TOP 6 SHOWS TO WATCH WHEN YOU ARE FEELING SAD.
There are times when you are feeling sad or feeling down and want to watch something that enlightens your mood and makes you laughs a little. These are my personal favorite FEEL GOOD - COMEDY shows to watch and just have a good time. Honestly, these shows have put a smile on my face when I was feeling sad. You will want to binge watch these movies/series. People of any age can watch this and relate to this. Go grab a snack and wrap yourself in a blanket and enjoy the shows.
1. WE ARE THE MILLERS
Genre - Comedy, Feel good, Crime
Storyline - David, a pot dealer is forced by his boss to go to Mexico to collect a ton of drugs. So in order to not look suspicious crossing the border he asks a broke stripper, Rose and 2 teenagers to join him and pretend to be his family on a vacation. This follows with a lot of drama and laughter on the family trip.
Reviews - This is a great movie for a lazy evening on the sofa. It is an enjoyable movie with humor that will make you laugh out loud. This is one of my personal favorite movies that I always watch on repeat.
2. MODERN FAMILY
Genre - Comedy, Drama, Light-hearted.
Storyline - This series shows the story of 3 families who are ahead of their times. Parents Claire and Phil tries to solidify their relationship with their children, one daughter who is trying to grow too fast, another one who is too smart that it back stabs her, and one son who is trying to make everything difficult.
Claire's dad Jay has married a Latina women who is half his age. But sometimes people misunderstand and assumes his Latina wife to be his daughter.
Jay's gay son Mitchell and his partner Cameron have adopted a little Asian girl and trying to balance everything in their chaotic lives.
Reviews - This sitcom is one of the best sitcoms ever. You will find yourself laughing out loud watching this show. This sitcom has 11 seasons, and honestly you will want to binge watch this show.
3. MURDER MYSTERY
Genre - Comedy, Crime, Mystery, Witty
Storyline - A cop takes his wife on a European trip. Finally he takes her on that long promised trip where they get a chance to go on the Super Yacht of a billionaire Malcom Quince. Unexpectedly the billionaire is murdered on the yacht and they become the prime suspect. So they try to find out who the real murderer is. This follows with a lot of drama and comedy.
Reviews - This movie is a fun time. It distracts you from your sadness and keeps your mind engaged for the whole time. You can watch this with your whole family and have a fun time.
4. MATILDA
Storyline - The protagonist Matilda, a five year old girl is not treated in a nice way because she is very different from everybody. Matilda is an intelligent girl who is more mature for her age. Matilda discovers that she has telekinetic powers. She uses her power to turn the tables and stand for herself in front of her parents and her cruel principal.
Review - This movie is a roller coaster. It is inspiring at times and funny at other times. This is a sweet movie that you will never regret watching. It will calm your mind definitely.
5. HORRIBLE BOSSES
Genre - Comedy, Crime, Witty
Storyline - Three best friends are tired of their bosses behavior and drunkenly discusses how to kill their bosses and hires a murder consultant.. Nick hates his boss because he makes him work too much and blackmails him so that he cannot quit his job. Dale hates his Boss, Julia because she makes him uncomfortable by making sexual advances when he is about to get married. Kurt is fed up of his psychopathic behavior.
Review - This movie is quite hilarious. The personality of the characters will make you laugh out loud. you will definitely want to watch this movie all over again. There is a part 2 of this movie too but I prefer the part 1 so much more.
6. GAME NIGHT
Genre - Comedy, Thriller, Feel good, Mystery
Storyline - Max and Annie a competitive married couple, weekly game night takes up a notch when Max's brother arranges a fake murder mystery party. But after sometime things start to get serious. The fake kidnapping of Max's brother turns into a real one. The night turns into a roller coaster of solving mystery and going through drama.
Review - This movie is very underrated. This is a movie I will rate very highly. My all time favorite movie to have a great night. This movie keeps my mind engaged. You can also watch this movie with your whole family.
